History

The Willowbank Angus label has evolved from 40 years of breeding Angus cattle on the pristine pastures just south of Harvey by the Armstrong family. Six years ago we came to Perth and setup a boning room/ butcher shop in Maddington to produce our high quality product, which is all yearling beef, Hormone Free and Antibiotic Free. The Beef Shop produces 100% WA product from paddock to plate.

Our Beef is aged to maximise tenderness and flavour to give our customers the best product available. We specialise in sides of beef, Whole Primal cuts.

We now use only the best WA Black Angus genetics; we believe this is a premium carcass which we process at our Maddington shop. All of our beef is aged for at least 2 weeks, this gives the best tenderness and taste sensation. THE BEEF SHOP is WA locally owned and operated. We are your AGED HORMONE FREE BEEF SPECIALISTS.

Other free range products

We believe that we have the very best quality in our beef, so we understand that all of our other products we stock must complement this. We have sourced the very best free range suppliers that W.A has to offer, they meet our very high quality standards. We are happily supplied and recommend our free range chicken from LIBERTY OPEN RANGE CHICKEN, our free range pork from LINLEY VALLEY PORK and all lamb from KARRADALE MEATS.

Our talented butchers slice out the finest cuts for our customers and are accompanied by our friendly and competent counter staff. We happily serve everyone from everywhere.

Our clients

The Beef Shop also has a wholesale division; we currently supply products to gold medal winning bakeries, restaurants, selected supermarkets, several mining companies and local WA roadhouses.
